Carolina Forss is a Helsinki-based designer, journalist and stylist.
Her designs have been showcased in numerous international fashion magazines, including Italian Vogue, Document Journal, and 1 Granary. Cultural and art history have significantly inspired her work. In her Master’s thesis, she explored the Golden Age of Finnish Art from a designer’s perspective. The work was presented in London at the Royal Academy of Arts, in Tokyo at the cultural centre Spiral, in Paris during fashion week, and finally at the Ateneum Art Museum, part of the Helen Schjerfbeck exhibition.
Carolina graduated from Aalto University with a Bachelor of Arts in 2015 and a Master's degree in 2019, majoring in Fashion and Textile Design with a minor in Fashion Management. Over the past decade, she has worked in the international fashion industry, spanning from New York to Stockholm, Vienna and Paris, as well as St. Gallen, eventually returning to her hometown of Helsinki.
She has worked with product design, managed fashion projects, developed communication strategies, and crafted brand stories. As a writer, she has contributed articles to the Financial Times, Hufvudstadsbladet, and Gloria magazine.
